About
Last updated: 7 November 2026
PNG en JPG is a free image converter, available in French, Spanish and English, that turns PNG images into JPG and JPG or JPEG images into PNG directly in the browser.
What the site does
Two converters and nothing else: PNG to JPG and JPG to PNG. You can drop in several files at once, choose the JPG quality and the colour that replaces transparency, then download the results one by one or as a ZIP archive.
Settings appear only after a valid file is added, and images are processed on your device with the browser's Canvas API.
Who it is for
For anyone who needs to shrink a photo that is too heavy for a website, attach a screenshot to an email, publish an image on a platform that rejects PNG, or stay under the size limit of an online form.
No install, no account and no technical knowledge: the tool works the same way on a desktop, a tablet and a phone.
What the site does not do
- No accounts, no signup, no watermark.
- No advertising, no newsletter, no paid offer.
- No image upload to a server for conversion.
- No other converters: no WebP, PDF, GIF, AVIF or HEIC, no background removal.
Who builds it
PNG en JPG is an independent project, designed, built and maintained by an independent web developer. There is no company and no sales team behind the site: fixes and improvements are made directly by the person who wrote it.
The scope stays deliberately limited to two conversions so each feature can be checked properly. Changes are guided by the messages that arrive at the contact address.
